Accessibility
At Arctic Fashion we want to provide a good online shopping experience to everyone. This accessibility statement tells what accessibility features we have included in this site.
We recognise that there may still be more to do. If you have difficulties using this site, or can give us feedback regarding the accessibility of this site, we would be grateful to hear from you so that we can improve our site further.
At Arctic Fashion we strongly promote the use of web standards such as XHTML and Cascading Style Sheets, in a semantically correct manner. We are passionate to provide support for a variety of browsers, including Firefox and Safari.
We aim to achieve Level AA of the Web Content Accessibility guidelines, however, we are using JavaScript. You won't be able to order on this site unless you have JavaScript. We use a number of tools to perform automated accessibility tests, but as of today, we do not have any disabled testers. If you are interested in becoming one, get in touch.
We try to use clear language and a straightforward ordering process - it is simply good practice for everyone. We will not use any blinking or flickering elements, and you don't need Flash to use this site.
The colours used on this site should provide adequate contrast so that it is usable by anyone with colour deficient vision. Information is always conveyed by text or markers in addition to colour. The font size is changeable by yourself using the browser function to increase the font size.
Our product range requires visual representation, however, we have aimed to provide clear descriptions and alternatives to give you an idea what the product looks like.
This site does uses frames to keep track of your basket value. However, we have tested it with all major browsers, and your links from any search engine results will direct correctly to the top level page.
